The Bicycle Nautic Back design dates from 1919. The design was hand drawn to incorporate a high level of detail. The intricate design is typical of cards produced in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
While this deck was inspired by original artwork, changes have been made to give it a more modern feel. The back design was inverted and the border was removed. In addition, brand new artwork was created for the custom ace of spades.
The deck has a unique look, and the back designs are reminiscent of Rorschach inkblot designs which opens up new presentation possibilities with these cards.
