NESTING BOXES

NESTING BOXES

An extremely versatile prop with many uses both close-up and stage.

Borrow a small article, a coin, watch, note, ring, or similar item. The item can even be marked by the spectator. The borrowed item is wrapped in a handkerchief and given to the spectator to hold.

You then show the audience a small locked wooden box.

The box is examined and it is solid and locked. An audience member can hold the box. Another spectator can hold the key.

Now, the magic begins!

You ask the spectator holding the handkerchief to open it out. It is empty!

The key opens the padlock on the box. Inside the box is another locked box. And inside the second box is the actual vanished article.

No switches. No exchanges. Easy to do. Examinable.

Can also be used for a prediction. Opening the box, inside is a folded piece of paper with that day's headlines or the winner of an election or competition.

Beautifully made with a clever hidden secret.
