Scams & Fantasies with Cards is a magic show, an exhibition of uncanny sleight-of-hand skill, and an autobiographical excursion into a fascinating life spent earning a living with a deck of cards. Stories about growing up playing cards in the inner city, roaming Times Square in the 1970s, and performing for Mafia mob bosses are intertwined with sleight-of-hand miracles, a crash course in card cheating, and even a lesson in three-card monte.
The result is a fun-filled show loaded with audience interaction. You will see true impossibilities with a deck of cards that you will talk about for a long time. You will see see sleight of hand raised to the level of an art form. You will see real magic.
Darwin Ortiz has written books on card cheating and sleight of hand. He has worked as a consultant to gambling casinos in fourteen countries on how to prevent cheating. He has appeared on both America's Most Wanted and Britain's Most Wanted as an expert on casino scams.
As an entertainer, Darwin has performed for numerous Fortune 500 companies and entertained at both the George W. Bush and Barack Obama Presidential Inaugural Banquets.
