MAGIC GENIE IN A BOTTLE
Show a small bottle and say, "A genie lives in this bottle. Here, I'll show you."
Drop a rope into the bottle. The genie grabs the rope and when you let go of the bottle, it remains suspended on the rope. You can sway the bottle and still it does not fall.
Finally you remove the rope and hand both the rope and the bottle out for examination. The genie has vanished! There is nothing for the audience to find!
