“Steamboats” was originally a term used by various manufacturers at the end of the 19th century to refer to their least expensive, disposable brands.
One of the last surviving brands – the USPCC “snowflake” back Steamboat. These cards were originally printed in green, blue and red, but today only blue and red have survived.
Printed to very high modern standards, these high quality cards are faithful 21st century reproductions of a classic from a by-gone era.
