NOTHING ON EARTH (CAN HOLD HOUDINI)

Nothing on Earth

NOTHING ON EARTH (CAN HOLD HOUDINI)

If you will be in the New York City area before April 5th, see "Nothing on Earth" written and directed by Randall Sharp.

This live play is about the legendary magician and escape artist Harry Houdini in his crusade to expose fraudulent mediums.

When he crosses paths with his friend and avid spiritualist Sir Arthur Conan Doyle events take an unexpected turn.

Both men are catapulted to the center of The Scientific American Magazine contest to find the first-ever provable clairvoyant, a battle that destroyed their friendship and left Houdini alone to continue with his poignant search for a true psychic to contact his mother. He was not successful.

Axis Company in New York City has worked closely with William Kalush, Executive Director of the Conjuring Arts Center, Houdini scholar, and author of The Secret Life of Houdini. Kalush assisted to re-create some of Houdini's most famous feats, including his amazing straightjacket escape, and brings the audience on a journey to the strangest part of his life story.
