Magical Vision is a great trick to show youngsters. It's easily made and performed, and everyone will laugh as they apparently look right through their hand. It's a great trick by itself, or use it with X-ray Glasses from Tin City Magic. It's also a fun "explanation" of how you do your other miracles, like Color Vision or the Mental Die.
Roll up a piece of paper into a tube like a magic wand. Hold it in one hand while you wave it over your other hand, preparing your hand for your magic.
Now hold the wand up to one eye, so you are looking into the tube, Hold your other hand with the palm facing you, and place it next to the wand, about two inches from the end.
With both eyes open, focus on something across the room. Slowly, move your free hand back and forth along the side of the wand as you continue to look through the wand with one eye.
Magically, it will appear that you're looking through a hole in the middle of your hand!
This is great for parties. All of the children will have fun participating. You can even print up sheets of paper to look like magic wands, magician's assistants certificates, simple instructions for magic tricks, or advertising to use as a handout for your show. The children use these sheets during the show, and will save them as a keepsake.
